Emergency School Closing Procedures Please note that the information below is for informational purposes only. In the event of a change in school Open/Close status there will be a special bulletin on the District 68 Main Page. This "Emergency School Closing Information" bulletin will ONLY be active when there is a need to communicate a possible change in school status. The school district now has the capability of having a recorded phone message delivered to all parents, guardians, and staff in emergency situations through the use of a Voice REACH service. This phone message will be utilized fro school closing information. This phone message service will be used to supplement the notifications that are braodcast by the news media and are also available on the School district Website www.woodridge68.org Parents need to be aware of the radio stations to which they should stay tuned to learn of school closings due to severe weather conditions. In such cases parents should not send their youngsters to school. If it becomes necessary for schools to remain closed for more than one day, the procedure will be reported each day. Parents are requested to tune to any of the following tv or radio stations between the hours of 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.: CBS Channel 2 - WBBM TV NBC Channel 5 - WMAQ TV ABC Channel 7 - WLS TV WGN Channel 9 - WGN TV Fox Channel 32 - WFLD TV CLTV (Cable) 37 If you are a cable or satellite viewer, please check your local listings.
