4th Grade Discipline Policy
"Baseball Bucks"

1.  Each week of school is one inning.  There will be 9 'innings' in each quarter.

2.  Each Monday will begin a new inning.

3.  There will be ways to earn bases and runs throughout the quarter.  For example:

a.  Each day you are present in school, you will earn a base.
b.  Assignments will be worth one, two, or three bases, depending on difficulty, length of assignment, and teacher discretion.
c.  You will have the opportunity to earn a homerun for A's you receive on tests and quizzes.
d.  Bases will also be awarded for outstanding behavior and examples of excellent character.

4.  Strikes and outs will be earned for late or missing assignments, not following classroom rules, and display of poor character.  Three strikes will result in one out; three outs will result in a note home.

5.  Severe misconduct will result in fines ranging from $10 - $100.

6.  Payday will be on Friday of each week.  You will be paid $10 for each run you score in the inning (week).

7.  Earned money will be redeemed at the end of the game (quarter) for a special 4th grade activity.
