Woodridge School District 68 is located in the Village of Woodridge, Illinois approximately 25 miles west/southwest of Chicago in south central DuPage County. The District includes most of Woodridge and portions of the neighboring communities of Bolingbrook, Downers Grove, and Lisle within 8 square miles.
Rich in natural beauty, Woodridge is situated on the high ground overlooking the DuPage River. Although a relatively young community, Woodridge continues to grow and thrive because it offers an environment that meets a diverse range of lifestyles. Since incorporation in 1959, Woodridge has grown from 459 residents to a community of over 33,000 people, and District 68 schools have grown with the town. Originally settled as a farming community, Woodridge is one of the most economically strong and diverse communities in the Chicagoland region.
