Fifth grade teachers do their best to foster greater student independence and responsibility.  Students should be able to keep track of assignments and their due dates with the help of their assignment notebook.  We spend some time at the beginning of the year learning and practicing these skills.  With parent and teacher support, children will become responsible, independent students.  Come back often to get some exciting and fun things to do and see. Together we will make this the best year yet!!!
