Superintendent's message
On behalf of the members of the Board of Education, faculty, and staff, I would like to thank you for accessing our Woodridge School District 68 website. In partnership with our families and community, our continuing goal is to inspire education and innovation within our students, preparing them to be responsible members of our community and society. We continue to be a student-focused district that is highly regarded for the competence and character of our students and the excellence of our staff, programs, and learning environment.
Our students continue to have many opportunities to grow and learn in a caring and inspiring environment. They are guided and encouraged by motivated, well-prepared teachers, specialists, and administrators who believe in academic success for their students.
As the Superintendent of Schools, my focus is on our students, and I make a continuous effort to meet with students and parents, visit classrooms, attend events, and build relationships both in our schools and in our community. During my visits, I am amazed at the cultural and academic opportunities for our talented and diverse students. These opportunities, however, would not be possible without the expertise of our wonderful teachers and support staff. Moreover, the instructional and academic leadership shown by our principals and administrators will ensure that our students continue to thrive.
I, along with the Board of Education and staff, remain passionate about meeting the needs of all our students by providing educational opportunities that will prepare them for their journey to adulthood. While I am proud of our achievements, I understand that we must remain laser focused in our goal to prepare students for the 21 st century who are college and career ready, and who have the chance to surpass their dreams. Our Board of Education, principals, administrators, teachers and staff team of administrators and principals remain dedicated to our students and endeavor to provide the best instructional environment possible for them.
I look forward to sharing our successes and achievements with you!
Sincerely,
Dr. Patrick J. Broncato
Superintendent of Schools
