Accessibility Statement
Woodridge School District 68 is committed to ensuring that all material on its website is accessible to students, families, staff and the general public. Woodridge 68 works diligently to ensure the accessibility of its web content, including following guidelines and best practices.
What are we doing?
To help make the Woodridge 68 website a positive place for everyone, it has been designed and developed in accordance with the internationally recognized Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as well as the Section 508 standards in the United States. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone.
Woodridge 68 also uses the following tools:
- AudioEye: an accessibility tool that automatically scans original content and provides capabilities that enable individuals with disabilities to navigate, interact, and complete website tasks
- WEGLOT: removes language barriers through translation services, creating a truly multilingual website
How are we doing?
We've worked hard on the Woodridge 68 website and believe we've achieved our goal of Level AA accessibility, and we monitor the website regularly to maintain this.
Let us know what you think. If you experienced difficulty with the accessibility of any web pages or documents or would like to request materials in an alternate format, please contact Amy Melinder, Director of Community Engagement:
