Food Service

The Food Services department is responsible for:

  • Monitoring the school food service program in Woodridge School District 68 schools
  • Overseeing adherence to the guidelines established by the National School Lunch Program, School Breakfast Program and the Illinois Department of Public Health
  • Monitoring meal payment program at all levels
  • Processes free and reduced and waiver of fee applications for district and schools
  • Attending State and Federal workshops to address updated guidelines
  • Monitoring all aspects of the food service program budget
  • Publishing news and information about the food service program for parents
  • Arranging food service needs for various district functions
