Transportation Services
All students in kindergarten through eighth grade are eligible for bus transportation if they live one mile or more from the school building they attend, or if they must cross an IDOT approved Serious Safety Hazard to get to school. A special "pay rider" transportation program, as space permits and using only existing stops, allows children who reside under one mile to be bused, provided a fee is paid by the parent or guardian. Students not eligible for bus service are not permitted to ride the bus to a friend's house, relative's house, babysitter's, etc.
Woodridge 68 contracts its regular student transportation services with First Student, Inc. Please check with the staff in your child's school office to see if your child is eligible for bus transportation to and from school. General transportation questions may also be directed to your school office.
