Woodridge School District 68 offers a breakfast and hot lunch at each of its schools. A computerized accounting system is used like a debit account and treats all meal plans (free, reduced, or paid) exactly alike.
The District Food Service Program is part of the federal government's National School Breakfast and Lunch Program. Some recent changes include: more whole-grain foods; fruits and vegetables every day of the week; only fat-free or low-fat milk; and reduced saturated fat and sodium and no trans fat.
