Important registration dates for the 2026-27 school year

April 8	Online registration opens for new and returning students
April 8	2026-27 registration fee payment accepted
April 8	Kindergarten Pre-Registration 3:30-6:30pm at home school
April 15 & 22	Kindergarten English language testing (by appointment only)
May 13	Registration help session 4-7pm @JJH; all families welcome (by appointment only)
May 31	Early bird registration fee discount ends
June 30	Last day to register for inclusion in electronic residency verification
July 1	Proof of residency accepted
July 15	Free/reduced meal applications available
July 15	Fee waiver applications available
July 31	Returning students who are not registered by this date will be removed from the roster and must re-enroll as a new student
August 10	Class schedules & locker assignments posted in Parent Portal after 9:00am (junior high)
August 13	Link Day \| 3:00-7:00pm Incoming 7th & 8th graders accompanied by an adult are invited to visit Jefferson Junior High to tour the building, locate their classrooms, and try their locker combinations
August 14	Classroom assignments posted in Parent Portal after 2:00pm (elementary)
August 14	Bus routes will be posted in Parent Portal after 2:00pm
August 18	Open House / Meet & Greet / Kindergarten Orientation (contact school for details)
August 19	First day of school - half-day of school (dismissal elementary 11:40, junior high 11:55)
