Parent Teacher Organization

The Murphy School PTO is a volunteer group of parents/guardians who work together with the teachers, staff, and our community to provide fun educational resources and events throughout the school year. The Murphy PTO is the direct tie between the school and families to sponsor field trips, cultural arts activities, and organize family fun activities. Your parent involvement and volunteerism greatly improves your child’s school experience!

A few goals of the PTO:

  • To foster parent/guardian participation and involvement in the educational experience of their children.

  • Raise funds each year for the purchase of equipment and materials to be used by the students and staff of Murphy Elementary School.

  • Provide fun activities such as classroom parties, movie nights, family bingo, ice cream socials, and Halloween festivities.

  • Provide resources such as Field Day t-shirts, playground equipment, staff appreciation gifts, resources for extracurricular clubs, funds to sponsor field trips and assemblies for each Murphy student, and funds for the reimbursement of classroom materials purchased by Murphy teachers.

REMEMBER: All donations and fundraising income stay right here and only benefit our children and our school!
