Health & Safety Protocols
These health & safety protocols for the hybrid learning model have been established to protect the Woodridge 68 school community while students and staff are in the school building during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is important that families do their part to reinforce these behaviors at home.
Keeping student and staff health and safety a highest priority, Woodridge School District 68 is working to best replicate a normal school environment and educational experience for the 2020-21 school year. The school district follows the guidance of Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), DuPage County Health Department (DCHD), and Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE). The following protocols provide an overview and are subject to change based on evolving scientific research and changing health department guidelines.
If public health conditions improve, Woodridge 68 will work toward resuming full time in-person instruction. However, the District is prepared to return to full-time remote learning if DuPage County moves into the substantial transmission (red) category and the DuPage County Health Department recommends closure in consultation with the District, the Governor issues an executive order, or Illinois goes back to Phase 3 of Restore Illinois Plan.
