Woodridge 68 subscribes to an automated messaging system through Blackboard® to communicate important information to parents and staff within a very short period of time. The system allows the district to quickly inform parents by phone, email, app, and/or text message about any critical or emergency situations. Schools also use it to issue reminders and keep families informed about upcoming events and activities.
To be sure all messages are received, parents should check with their school office to be sure their official contact information is correct. Any changes should be reported immediately. Updates can also be made through Skyward Family Access, the parent portal to the district’s student database system.
